• Thursday, November 6-- High School Bible study at the Boone’s house. Come from 7-8pm. Middle School Bible study at the Fouts’ house. Be there from 7-8pm.

Youth Council

Do you want to be involved in Youth Council? Here is your chance. Our next meeting will be Sunday, November 9th from 7:00-8:00pm. We are looking for middle school students to get involved! Come and check it out if you are interested in deciding how things happen in the youth ministry. If you have questions you can contact Andrea at 830-0640 or aporter@bm-umc.org. This is a great opportunity.

Pilgrimage

Pilgrimage is coming up on November 7th-9th. It will be held in Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville , NC. It is a weekend full of speakers, worship and fun. You can still come if you have not signed up yet! Talk to Andrea if you want to come and be a part of something this great. If you have not turned in your money or registration, please turn it in as soon as possible.

Rebirth Youth and Women Center Donations

During the month of November we will be collecting donations for a very great organization in Raleigh. The Rebirth Youth and Women Center works with teenagers and young people by providing job skills,employment resources, teen mother support, a clothing pantry and counseling. This is a new organization that needs our help to continue doing the good things they are doing. We will be collecting women’s clothing, and children’s clothing during the month of November. Some details are still being worked out…stay tuned for more details!

Relationships Small Group

Do you wonder what God thinks about dating, relationships and sex? Do you ever think about if what the media and your peers are telling you is the truth? Do you just have questions? So far, we’ve talked about subjects like real friends, attraction, and romance. Who knows where the conversation will turn next? Come and find out!! Bring a friend!!

It is not too late to join. We are still working on the logistics of the group. Come and bring a friend. Our next meeting is October 14 from 7-9 pm. We will be meeting at the Porter's new place. Hope to see you there.

High School Bible Study

Robert and Lynda Boone have once again opened their home and are hosting a Bible study for high school students. If you are a high school student come and check it out. The next meeting is Thursday, November 6, 7-8PM. If you have never been or if you have never missed a meeting, come and see what is happening.

New Middle School Bible Study

That’s right! There is a new middle school Bible study this year!!! Yah who! Carol and Nevin Fouts have graciously opened their home and will be leading the Bible study. The next meeting will be Thursday, November 6 from 7-8pm. It will be held at the Fouts’ place. We hope you can be there!!
