Shannon has been with the preschool since May of 2000. She earned her BS in Child Development form Meredith College in May of 1995. Shannon's varied experiences in the field of early childhood include positions serving students with a wide variety of special needs.

Shannon lives in Raleigh with her husband Craig, her son Noah, and their 3 dogs, 2 cats, cockatiel and iguana. Noah is a proud alumnus of Benson Memorial UMC Weekday programs.
