Mary grew up in North and South Carolina. Her father is a retired Baptist minister and moved about every 4 to 5 years. She graduated from Page High School in Greensboro, NC and from there attend Guilford Tech in High Point, NC. She spent the past 4 years working as the Administrative Assistant at Pleasant Grove UMC.

Mary and her husband, Lee live in Raleigh and have three wonderful daughters, one son-in-law, one precious grandchild, and a very feisty Pomeranian named “Shada”.
