Sarah was born and raised in the Raleigh area, and even though she has lived in several areas of the country she and her husband Jacob have chosen to make Raleigh their home. Sarah and Jacob’s pride and joy is their three year old son Gavin.

Sarah has extensive ministry training with children and families and is currently completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies. She will also be pursuing her Masters of Divinity in 2009. Her passion is helping inspire spiritual formation in the lives of children and their families. Sarah helps to guide Benson’s Children’s ministries to be an exciting fun-filled environment that balances evangelism and discipleship.
