ANNOUNCEMENTS—June 28, 2009

LAY LEADER WITNESS – Periodically Lay witnesses from our congregation share during the morning worship service, a part of their lives when God answered their prayers. God's answer to prayers lets us know how much He loves us. Lay witness persons give a faith message that shows how God is working in their lives. God wants us to be a part of His Kingdom and He does not hold back his love.  Are you willing to share your faith story with us?  Contact Jimmy Ennis 787-5626.

NURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Nursery volunteers are needed during the 11:00 a.m. worship service for July and August.  Volunteers, please send an email to bmumc.kids@gmail.com with dates you will be available.  Our nursery contractors recently received training, and we think you will enjoy the new experience. If a volunteer arrives and is not needed due to a small number of children, the volunteer may go back to the service with a pager and simply be paged if an extra set of hands is needed.

BENSON BOOK GROUP – The Benson Book Group will meet Monday, July 13, 2009, 7:00 p.m.  Please join us in reading and discussing The Same Kind of Different as Me, by Ron Hall and Denver Moore, as told to Lynn Vincent.  This book is available through Wake County Libraries, however there is a wait list.  It can also be purchased through the local bookstores.   For more information, please contact Carol Gosselin  881-0504 or  j_c_gosselin@bellsouth.net.

THE SOMETHING MORE SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS invites you to join us each Sunday 10:00 a.m., Room 205 to view and discuss a short film from the NOOMA series featuring Rob Bell. Each week, Rob will offer a fresh look at the teachings of Jesus on a variety of subjects.  No reading required and we hope to  see you there!
