SINGLE ADULTS MAKE UP 40% OF OUR COMMUNITY – Are you one of us? In early fall a renewed outreach toward Single Adults in this church and in our community is planned. Currently a group of Single Adults will be meeting to brainstorm and plan what this ministry might include. If you are one of this forty percent join us as we plan for this ministry. IS GOD CALLING YOU TO BE R.E.A.L? – We want you to be a part of Benson’s youth ministry! Adults who want to share the real Christ with teenagers are needed. R.E.A.L. leaders Relate to youth as they Experience life together while Affirming them as disciples and Loving the youth for who they are. Having an open heart to investing in teenagers’ lives is needed, but no experience is necessary. An information meeting will be held and details will be shared. THE UNITED METHODIST WOMEN are sponsoring Christmas in July again this year to help the Methodist Home for Children. Sunday School classes have been given copies of the 2008 Wish List and are asked to collect items by July 13. There is also a container marked with a red bow in the Narthex for collection of items from the Wish List. Gift cards (Walmart, Target, etc.) and food gift certificates (McDonalds, Golden Corral, Burger King, etc.) are two easy items to obtain from the Wish List. Please help us bless the children in the Home with an abundance of gifts.
